These 365 photo series depict life since the start of Covid-19 in Ireland. On March 10th 2020 I chose to come home to the south-east from Dublin to be with family and see which way things would go. I left feeling unsure just how long I would be away from the city for. That turned out to be 550 continuous days. As the weeks turned into months, I started to curate the photos I had taken since I was Home, Suddenly. I chose one image per day intended to show a spread of things; the mundane, the anxious and the familial. Thankfully my second series, Still Home, saw less time at home while we opened up, before a few retreats. I started to move between cities regularly but the name for the third edition said it all, The Anxious Normal. Then “Post” Pandemic, and now we are here, 5 Years On.
Dogs, people, flowers, habits, sunsets. One image, every day. The result is an ongoing life logging project that captures the pace both in, and away from a city, and an observation of nature & the changing seasons.
1 photo every day for the years since March 10th 2020
Crops, some filtered selfies & screen shots included but otherwise images are unedited & unfiltered

I’ve previously worked in multimedia, so the process of editing Home, Suddenly was enjoyable to revisit. I work in research and technology now and it can feel like there isn’t enough time for side projects, ironically, Covid helped me there.
